Can't "Identifont"
Always wondered what some font was and couldn't quite figure it out? You probably shouldn't use Identifont to determine what it was. I tried to have the site identify Acanthus-Bold by going through the "Identify by appearance" option, which asks a series of questions about the shapes of the letters and serifs.
The problem is that if you see a font on the street and want to identify it, the questions about specific numbers or symbols which you might not have at your disposal prove useless. After going through all of the questions, the site identified the font as Ehrhardt - which isn't even that similar to Acanthus. So if you have a random typeface you want to find the name of, you may be better off scrolling through the FontReserve.
